.About the work: This series  of work stems from an interest in how we remember things. Having looked at a complicated image if we turn away we can still see the image in our minds but if asked to locate anything but the major players in the image it is almost impossible to locate other objects but we still have a perception of the whole image in our minds. The only object in this work that is painted from life is the large shell the rest is  the work of my imagination.

The work is supplied with a simple limed pine frame.
