About the work: Driving from Lincolnshire to Manchester for an exhibition I passed through the Peak district in April 2008 and the moors were covered with a light dusting of late snow, the colour of the vegetation under the snow, the trees yet to bud, the stone and  the shades of grey in the dull April light stirred something within.

The work is on a box type support and requires no frame.
