About the work: This work is again created around my interest in language, and is created through partial metaphors that arise from the word "white".  White is seen as pure and good and so acquires an elevated position hence the placement of the pure colour towards the top of the image, also the pure section is raised proud of the works surface. The word white is painted onto the pure section of the work, very lightly. The layers in the outer section of the work reflect the layers of meaning that all language is comprised of.

The work is not framed and could be hung unframed but purchasers may feel the need of a frame as the layers of paint on the edges make a rough surface.
