About the work: This work was created whilst exploring how most things are recognised through layers of meaning and also exploring the potential of thin layers of oil paint. It is one of a series of three in which each layer was created using three identical torn pieces of masking paper to create an identical layer in each work but the pieces of paper were rotated to different angles in each work creating three images that whilst being different in colour and shape,  were created with identical component masks. The work comes in a 6cm limed oak frame, outer measurements 51cm x 51cm.
